This is one of the pictures taken by Myriam Moszkowicz with help of Lotte van Keulen on one of the hottest mondays of the year. After an hour of riding this awesome Solex up and down a small road in the outskirts of Utrecht, all we wanted was swimming…  So we decided we were done for the day… On our way back we bought some strawberries and ate them on a bench in the shade getting winks from a few retired men that walked by.

28 november 2010 is het zo ver. De eerste expositie & veiling van mijn leven! Schilderijen, tekeningen met mooie lijstjes en zelfs ‘n paar jurken! Een deel van de opbrengst gaat naar Stichting MS, waarom? Daarom! Ik hoop dat je wat komt kopen, das voor iedereen leuk als het goed is. Daarbij de prijs mag je zelf bepalen… en nog wat: er komt wat ruimte in mijn huiskamer!!

Tonight I made an awkward version of Somedays, one of the first Room Eleven songs. My rule is: “upload before you get insecure!”

This is how I want to say that I look back on my time with Room Eleven with pride. I love the songs we wrote and I feel so damn lucky that we’ve been able to tour with our own songs and meet people in so many countries. It was one of the best things that ever happened to me.  

People ask me if I started Schradinova to get rid of the Room Eleven image? My answer is no! Musically and lyrically I have no other goal, I want to make music that moves. One of the things Room Eleven was known for was a mix of styles and even that is something I will keep looking for with Schradinova.

The only thing that has changed is my feeling about the process. I’ll be making smaller steps from now on, so I can keep up with it all. I want to keep working with people that inspire me and I hope to work this way for a long long time. Merci Beaucoup.
